National Assessment Governing Board; Meeting

AGENCY: National Assessment Governing Board; Education.

ACTION: Amendment to notice.

SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given of an amendment to the notice of the 
National Assessment Governing Board meeting scheduled for May 7-9, 
1998, at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel, 1700 Jefferson Davis 
Highway, Arlington, Virginia, as published in the Federal Register on 
March 20, 1998, Vol. 63, No. 78, page 19477. The following changes have 
been made in the session schedule for Friday, May 8. The time for the 
closed meeting of the Subject Area Committee #1 has been extended until 
11:30 a.m. Also, an agenda item was added to the afternoon session of 
the full Board meeting. Between 3:15-4:00 p.m. the Board will hear 
comments from the test development subcontractors for the Voluntary 
National Tests. The Friday, May 8 session of the Governing Board 
meeting will conclude at 4:30 p.m.
