In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L.
920463, as amended), the National Science Foundation announces the
following meeting.
Name: Committee of Visitors in Experimental and Integrative
Activities (1193).

Type of Meeting: Part Open.

Purpose of Meeting: To assess program-level technical and
managerial matters pertaining to proposal decisions.
Agenda: To assess program-level technical and managerial
matters pertaining to proposal decisions. The review will address
the integrity and efficacy of processes used to solicit, review,
recommend, and document proposal actions, and the relationship
between award decisions and program goals. The Open portion of the
meeting will include consideration of the results of NSF investment.
Reason for Closing: The proposals being reviewed include
information of a proprietary of confidential nature, including
technical information; financial data, such as salaries; and
personal information concerning individuals associated with the
proposals. These matters are exempt under 5 U.S.C. 552 b.(c)(4) and
(6) of the Government in the Sunshine Act.
