AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.
ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: This document requests comments on a petition for rule making
filed by Vixon Valley Broadcasting requesting the allotment of Channel
292A to Blue Lake, California, an incorporated community, as its first
local aural transmission service. Coordinates used for Channel 292A at
Blue Lake are 40-52-54 and 123-59-12.
DATES: Comments must be filed on or before June 16, 1997, and reply
comments on or before July 1, 1997.

Provisions of the Regulatory Flexibility Act of 1980 do not apply
to this proceeding.
