Tennessee Valley Authority, Sequoyah Nuclear Plant Units 1 and 2;
Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendment to Facility Operating
License
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has granted
a request by the Tennessee Valley Authority (the licensee) to withdraw
its application for amendments dated November 16, 1992, (which was
supplemented by letter dated September 3, 1993), to Facility Operating
License Nos. DPR-77 and DPR-79, respectively, issued to the licensee
for operation of the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Unit Nos. 1 and 2, located
in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of this
amendment was published in the Federal Register on December 9, 1992 (57

The purpose of the amendment request was to revise the Technical

reactor coolant system total flow rate requirement, TS 3.2.5, Table
3.2-1.
Subsequently, the licensee informed the staff that the amendment is
no longer required. Thus, the amendment application is considered to be
withdrawn by the licensee.

application for amendment dated November 16, 1992, and its supplemental
letter dated September 3, 1993, and (2) the staff's letter dated March
13, 1996.
