the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35).
    Agency: Bureau of Export Administration.
    Title: National Security Assessment of the Cartridge and Propellant 
Actuated Device Industry.
    Agency Form Number: None.
    OMB Approval Number: None.
    Type of Request: New Collection.
    Burden: 400 hours.
    Number of Respondents: 50.
    Avg Hours Per Response: 8 hours.
    Needs and Uses: Information will be collected from 50 firms to 
assess the health and competitiveness of the Cartridge and Propellant 
Activated Device Industry. Recommendations will be made to maintain the 
viability of this critical industry.
    Affected Public: Businesses or other for-profit institutions, small 
businesses or organizations.
    Frequency: One time.
    Respondent's Obligation: Mandatory.
