Account No. 191 balance pursuant to Sec. 33.2 of the General Terms and
Conditions of its FERC Gas Tariff, First Revised Volume No. 1. The
filing reflects activity affecting Texas Gas's pre-November 1, 1993,
unrecovered purchased gas costs, which were actually paid between the
period August 1, 1994, through March 31, 1995, resulting in a balance
of approximately $6.5 million. Texas Gas requests that the tariff
sheets become effective April 30, 1995.
Texas Gas states that the copies of the revised tariff sheets are
being mailed to Texas Gas's affected former jurisdictional sales
customers and interested state commissions.

this filing are on file with the Commission and are available for
public inspection in the public reference room.
