Notice of Postponement of Final Determination of Sales at Less 
Than Fair Value: Honey From the People's Republic of China (PRC)

AGENCY: Import Administration, International Trade Administration, 
Department of Commerce.

POSTPONEMENT OF FINAL DETERMINATION: The China Chamber of Commerce for 
Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-products Importers and 
Exporters (the Chamber), and 28 individual Chinese exporters, 
respondents in this proceeding, represent a significant proportion of 
exports of honey from the PRC to the United States. On March 17, 1995, 
the Chamber and the 28 individual Chinese exporters requested that the 
Department postpone the final determination until not later than 135 
days after the date of publication of the preliminary determination in 
accordance with section 735(a)(2) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended 
(the Act).
    Pursuant to 19 CFR 353.20(b), if exporters who account for a 
significant proportion of exports of the merchandise under 
investigation request an extension subsequent to an affirmative 
preliminary determination, we are required, absent compelling reasons 
to the contrary, to grant the request. Such is the case with the 
respondents in this investigation. Accordingly, we are postponing our 
final determination as to whether sales of honey from the PRC have been 
made at less than fair value until not later than August 2, 1995.
    This notice is published pursuant to section 735(d) of the Act and 
19 CFR 353.20(b)(2).
