Establishment of Dollar Coin Design Advisory Committee

Establishment of the Advisory Committee

    This notice is published in accordance with the provisions of the 
Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. 92-463), and advises of the 
establishment of the Dollar Coin Design Advisory Committee. The 
Secretary of the Treasury has determined that the establishment of the 
Committee is in the public interest.

Purpose of the Advisory Committee

    The Committee will consider design concepts for the obverse side of 
the new $1 coin and recommend to the Secretary of the Treasury a single 
such design concept.
