Duty Administrative Reviews: Extension of Time Limit

AGENCY: Import Administration, International Trade Administration, 
Department of Commerce.

ACTION: Notice of extension of time limit.

SUMMARY: The Department of Commerce (the Department) is extending the 
time limit of the preliminary results of the antidumping duty 
administrative reviews of Certain Cold-Rolled Carbon Steel Flat 
Products & Certain Corrosion-Resistant Carbon Steel Flat Products from 
Korea. These reviews cover the period August 1, 1996 through July 31, 
1997.

EFFECTIVE DATE: April 7, 1998.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Due to the complexity of issues involved in 
these cases, it is not practicable to complete these reviews within the 
original time limit. The Department is extending the time limit for 
completion of the preliminary results until August 31, 1998, in 
accordance with Section 751(a)(3)(A) of the Trade and Tariff Act of 
1930, as amended by the Uruguay Round Agreements Act of 1994. See 
memorandum to Robert S. LaRussa from Joseph A. Spetrini regarding the 
extension of the case deadline, dated March 27, 1998.
    This extension is in accordance with 751(a)(3)(A) of the Tariff Act 
of 1930, as amended (19 U.S.C. 1675(a)(3)(A)).
