Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation; Notice of Refund Report

April 1, 1999.
    Take notice that on March 22, 1999, Columbia Gas Transmission 
Corporation (Columbia) tendered for filing with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission its Refund Report made to comply with the 
November 22, 1996 Settlement in Docket No. RP95-408, et al. as approved 
by the Commission on April 17, 1997.
    On February 20, 1999, Columbia made refunds, as billing credits, in 
the amount of $137,801.69. The credits represent a deferred tax refund 
based on the sale of certain gathering facilities to Columbia Natural 
Resources. These refunds were made pursuant to Stipulation II, Article 
III, Section G(2) of the Settlement.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed on 
or before April 8, 1999. Protests will be considered by the Commission 
in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve 
to make protestants parties to the proceedings. Copies of this filing 
are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection 
in the Public Reference Room. This filing may be viewed on the web at
