FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE CORPORATION
Notice of Agency Meeting
Pursuant to the provisions of the ``Government in the Sunshine
Act'' (5 U.S.C. 552b), notice is hereby given that the Federal Deposit
Insurance Corporation's Board of Directors will meet in open session at
10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 1994, to consider the following matters:
Summary Agenda
No substantive discussion of the following items is anticipated.
These matters will be resolved with a single vote unless a member of
the Board of Directors requests that an item be moved to the discussion
agenda.
Disposition of minutes of previous meetings.
Reports of actions approved by the standing committees of the
Corporation and by officers of the Corporation pursuant to authority
delegated by the Board of Directors.
Memorandum and resolution re: Amendment to an Existing System of
Records--Insured Bank Liquidation Record System.
Memorandum re: Contract to Support the Development and
Implementation of the Corporate Information Architecture Program.
Discussion Agenda
Memorandum and resolution re: Proposed amendments to Part 303 of
the Corporation's rules and regulations, entitled ``Applications,
Requests, Submittals, Delegations of Authority, and Notices Required
to be Filed by Statute or Regulation,'' which would revise
application and publication requirements for the establishment and
relocation of remote service facilities.
Memorandum and resolution re: (1) Proposed amendments to
Appendix A to Part 325 of the Corporation's rules and regulations,
entitled ``Capital Maintenance,'' which would address the regulatory
capital treatment of recourse arrangements and direct credit
substitutes that expose banks, bank holding companies, and thrifts
to credit risk, and (2) advance notice of proposed rulemaking
seeking comment on a preliminary proposal to adopt a multi-level
approach for assessing risk-based capital against bank and thrift
participants in certain asset securitization transactions.
Memorandum and resolution re: Proposed amendments to Part 335 of
the Corporation's rules and regulations, entitled ``Securities of
Nonmember Insured Banks,'' which relate to registration and
reporting requirements for nonmember insured banks with securities
registered under section 12 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
The meeting will be held in the Board Room on the sixth floor of
the FDIC Building located at 550--17th Street, NW., Washington, DC.
The FDIC will provide attendees with auxiliary aids (e.g., sign
language interpretation) required for this meeting. Those attendees
