Northwest Pipeline Corp.; Notice of Compliance Filing

April 3, 1997.
    Take notice that on March 31, 1997, Northwest Pipeline Corporation 
(Northwest) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Third 
Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets, to become effective 
March 1, 1997.

Substitute First Revised Sheet No. 254
Substitute Second Revised Sheet No. 255
Substitute Second Revised Sheet No. 256
Second Revised Sheet No. 257

    Northwest states that this filing is submitted in compliance with 
the Commission's February 27, 1997 Order in Docket No. RP97-239-00 (78 
FERC para. 61,189) accepting Northwest's proposal to change the 
Facilities Reimbursement provisions in Section 21 of the General Terms 
and Conditions of its tariff, subject to the revisions shown on the 
tendered tariff sheets.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as 
provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
the proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission 
and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
