    ANR Pipeline Company; Notice of Proposed Changes in FERC Gas 
    Tariff
    
    April 3, 1998.
        Take notice that on March 31, 1998, ANR Pipeline Company (ANR) 
    tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Second Revised 
    Volume No. 1, the following revised tariff sheets to be effective May 
    1, 1998:
    
    First Revised Sheet No. 9A
    Original Sheet No. 45 F through 45 H
    Third Revised Sheet No. 69--72
    Third Revised Sheet No. 77
    
        ANR states that this filing is being made accordance with the 
    provisions of Sections 154.202 of the Commission's regulations, is to 
    implement Rate Schedule IWS to create a new, flexible wheeling service 
    for shippers on the ANR system. Accordingly, this filing includes 
    revised tariff sheets for these changes, as well as certain conforming 
    revisions to the General Terms and Conditions of ANR's tariff.
        ANR states that copies of the filing have been mailed to all 
    affected customers and state regulatory commissions.
        Any person desiring to be heard or to protest this filing should 
    file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy 
    Regulations Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, 
    in accordance with Sections 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's 
    Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed as 
    provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests 
    will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
    action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
    the proceedings. Any person wishing to become a party must file a 
    motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the 
    Commission and are available for public inspection in the Public 
    Reference Room.
