    ANR Pipeline Company; Notice of Proposed Changes in FERC Gas 
    Tariff
    
    April 3, 1998.
        Take notice that on March 31, 1998, ANR Pipeline Company (ANR) 
    tendered for filing, as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Second Revised 
    Volume No. 1, and Original Volume No. 2, the following tariff sheets 
    proposed to become effective May 1, 1998:
    
    Second Revised Volume No. 1
    
    Ninth Revised Sheet No. 17A
    
    Origianl Volume No. 2
    
    Ninth Revised Sheet No. 15
    
        ANR states that the above-referenced tariff sheets are being 
    submitted to eliminate the ``Deferred Transportation Cost Adjustment'' 
    and Great Lakes Gas Transmission surcharges collected pursuant to 
    Commission orders in Docket Nos. RP97-307 and RP97-367, respectively.
        ANR states that all of its Volume No. 1 and Volume No. 2 customers 
    and interested State Commissions have been mailed a copy of this 
    filing.
        Any person desiring to be heard or to protest this filing should 
    file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy 
    Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street N.E., Washington, DC 20426, in 
    accordance with Sections 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's Rules 
    and Regulations. All such motions or protests should be filed in 
    accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. 
    Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
    appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make the 
    protestants parties to the proceedings. Any person wishing to become a 
    party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on 
    file with the Commission and are available for public inspection in the 
    Public Reference Room.
