AGENCY: Department of the Navy, Department of Defense.
ACTION: Intent to Grant Exclusive Patent License; Massachusetts
Institute of Technology.

SUMMARY: The Department of the Navy hereby gives notice of its intent
to grant to Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a revocable,
nonassignable, exclusive license in the United States and certain
foreign countries to practice the Government owned invention described
in U.S. Patent Application Serial No. 08/080,418, ``Thermal Insulation
of Wet Shielded Metal Arc Welds,'' filed 18 June 1993. [[Page 21132]]
Anyone wishing to object to the grant of this license has 60 days
from the date of this notice to file written objections along with
supporting evidence, if any. Written objections are to be filed with
the Office of Naval Research, ONR 00CC, Ballston Tower One, Arlington,
Virginia 22217-5660.
