South Dakota; Amendment to Notice of a Major Disaster Declaration
AGENCY: Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: This notice amends the notice of a major disaster for the
State of South Dakota, (FEMA-1173-DR), dated April 7, 1997, and related
determinations.
EFFECTIVE DATE: April 18, 1997.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The notice of a major disaster for the State
of South Dakota, is hereby amended to include the following areas among
those areas determined to have been adversely affected by the
catastrophe declared a major disaster by the President in his
declaration of April 7, 1997:
The counties of Bennett, Butte, Corson, Custer, Dewey, Fall
River, Gregory, Haakon, Harding, Jackson, Jones, Lawrence, Lyman,
Meade, Mellette, Pennington, Perkins, Shannon, Stanley, Todd, Tripp,
and Ziebach for Categories A and B under the Public Assistance
Program (already designated for Individual Assistance and Hazard
Mitigation.)
