U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy Meeting

AGENCY: United States Information Agency.

ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: A meeting of the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy 
will be held on May 11 in room 600, 301 4th Street, SW., Washington, DC 
from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
    From 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. the Commission will hold a panel 
discussion on public diplomacy in Africa. The panelists are Ambassador 
Lannon Walker, Senior Advisor to the Undersecretary of State for 
Political Affairs; and Robert LaGamma, Director, Office of African 
Affairs, USIA. At 11:30 a.m. the Commission will meet with Mr. Douglas 
Wilson, Director, Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental 
Relations, to discuss the State/USIA authorization for FY 1994-95 and 
USIA Congressional issues.
