ACTION:
Notice of public meeting.
SUMMARY:
The Pacific Fishery Management Council's (Pacific Council) Southern Resident Killer Whale (SRKW) Workgroup (Workgroup) will host two online meetings that are open to the public.
DATES:
The first meeting will be held Monday, June 1, 2020, from 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Pacific Daylight Time (PDT), or until business is complete. The second meeting will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2020, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., PDT, or until business is complete.

The purpose of these online meetings will be to continue to discuss and consider the potential development of recommendations for salmon management/conservation measures, and any associated modeling and analysis that may be needed. The Workgroup may also discuss and prepare for future Workgroup meetings and future meetings with the Pacific Council and its advisory bodies. Members of the Salmon Advisory Subpanel will also be in attendance. This is a public meeting and not a public hearing. Public comments will be taken at the discretion of the Workgroup co-chairs as time allows.
Although non-emergency issues not contained in the meeting agenda may be discussed, those issues may not be the subject of formal action during these meetings. Action will be restricted to those issues specifically listed in this document and any issues arising after publication of this document that require emergency action under section 305(c) of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act, provided the public has been notified of the intent to take final action to address the emergency.
