SUMMARY:

This notice amends the notice of a major disaster declaration for the State of Maryland, (FEMA-1409-DR), dated May 1, 2002, and related determinations.

May 6, 2002.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

The notice of a major disaster declaration for the State of Maryland is hereby amended to include Public Assistance and Hazard Mitigation in the following areas among those areas determined to have been adversely affected by the catastrophe declared a major disaster by the President in his declaration of May 1, 2002:

Calvert, Charles, and Dorchester Counties for Public Assistance (already designated for Individual Assistance).

All counties in the State of Maryland are eligible to apply for assistance under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
