Forest, Jackson and Josephine Counties, OR

AGENCY: Forest Service, USDA.

ACTION: Cancellation of an environmental impact statement.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY: On September 30, 1991, a notice of intent to prepare an 
environmental impact statement (EIS) for the Rusty Timber Sale and 
Other Projects on the Applegate Ranger District of the Rogue River 
National Forest was published in the Federal Register (56 FR 49453). 
Forest Service has decided to cancel the preparation of an EIS for this 
proposed action. The Notice of Intent is hereby rescinded.
