COMMISSION ON CIVIL RIGHTS

Agenda and Notice of Public Meeting of the Iowa Advisory Committee

    Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the rules and 
regulations of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, that the Iowa 
Advisory Committee to the Commission will hold a meeting on Thursday, 
June 16, 1994, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday, June 17, 1994, from 
9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Best Western Midway Hotel, 3100 Dodge 
Street, Dubuque, Iowa. The purpose of the meeting is to collect 
information on civil rights issues in order to plan future projects in 
Iowa.
    Persons desiring additional information, or planning a presentation 
to the Committee, should contact Melvin L. Jenkins, Director of the 
Central Regional Office, 816-426-5253 (TTY 816-426-5009). Hearing-
impaired persons who will attend the meeting and require the services 
of a sign language interpreter should contact the Regional Office at 
least five (5) working days before the schedule date of the meeting.
    The meeting will be conducted pursuant to the provisions of the 
rules and regulations of the Commission.
