    AGENCY: United States Information Agency.
    
    ACTION: Notice.

    SUMMARY: The U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy will meet on 
    May 20 in Room 600, 301 4th Street, SW., Washington, DC, from 9:30 a.m. 
    to 10:30 a.m.
        At 9:30 a.m. the Commission will meet with Colonel Paul Kappelman, 
    OASD/SO/LIC, Pentagon, and Ms. Carol Doerflein, Director, Office of 
    Strategic Communication, USIA, to discuss crisis management and how 
    planning, liaison, and coordinated efforts can improve the public 
    diplomacy aspects of complex contingencies.
