Northwest Alloys, Inc. Addy, Washington; Affirmative 
Determination Regarding Application for Reconsideration

    On April 18, 1994, the company requested administrative 
reconsideration of the Department's denial notice for workers at the 
subject firm. The Department's Negative Determination was issued on 
March 30, 1994 and was published in the Federal Register on April 13, 
1994 (59 FR 17570).
    The company submitted new information showing a decrease in 
production and employment in the 4th quarter of 1993 compared to the 
same quarter in 1992.

Conclusion

    After careful review of the application, I conclude that the claim 
is of sufficient weight to justify reconsideration of the Department of 
Labor's prior decision. The application is, therefore, granted.
