National Institute of Dental Research; Notice of Meeting of Board
of Scientific Counselors
Pursuant to Public Law 92-463, notice is hereby given of a meeting
of the Board of Scientific Counselors, National Institute of Dental
Research, on June 6-7, 1996, in Building 30, Trendley Dean Conference
Room, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland. The meeting
will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 6 for the
Laboratory of Cellular Development and Oncology presentations and from
8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on June 7 for a tour of the facilities and
Poster Presentations. Attendance by the public will be limited to space
available.
In accordance with the provisions set forth in sec. 552(c)(6),
Title 5, U.S.C. and sec. 10(d) of Public Law 92-463, this meeting will
be closed to the public from 5 p.m. until recess on June 6 and from
10:30 a.m. until adjournment on June 7 for the review, discussion, and
evaluation of individual programs and projects conducted by the
National Institute of Dental Research (NIDR), including consideration
of personnel qualifications and performance, the competence of
individual investigators, and similar items, the disclosure of which
would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.
Mr. Brent Jaquet, Director, Office of Planning, Evaluation, and
Communications, NIDR, NIH, Building 31, Room 2C34, Bethesda, Maryland
20892 (telephone: 301-496-6705; e-mail: [email protected]) will
provide a summary of the meeting, roster of committee members and
substantive program information. Individuals who plan to attend and
need special assistance, such as sign language interpretation or other
reasonable accommodations, should contract the Executive Secretary
listed above in advance of the meeting.
This notice is being published less than 15 days prior to the
meeting due to the urgent need to meet timing limitations imposed by
the intramural research review cycle.
