Task Force on Agricultural Air Quality; Notice of Meeting
AGENCY: Natural Resources Conservation Service; Agriculture.
ACTION: Notice of meeting.

SUMMARY: The Task Force on Agricultural Air Quality will meet for the
second time to discuss the relationship between agricultural production
and air quality. Special emphasis will be placed on promoting a greater
understanding of California agriculture, particularly its impact on air
quality and the role it plays in the local and national economy. The
meeting is open to the public.
DATES: The meeting will convene Tuesday, June 17, 1997 at 9:00 a.m. and
continue until 4:00 p.m. The meeting will resume Thursday, June 19,
1997 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Written material and requests to make
oral presentations should reach the Natural

Resources Conservation Service on or before June 13, 1997.

Note: On Wednesday, June 18, 1997 the Task Force will conduct an
all-day tour of agricultural operations around the San Joaquin
Valley.
Procedural
This meeting is open to the public. At the discretion of the Chair,
members of the public may present oral presentations during the June 17
and 19 meetings. Persons wishing to make oral presentations should
notify George Bluhm no later than June 13, 1997. If a person submitting
material would like a copy distributed to each member of the committee
in advance of the meeting, that person should submit 25 copies to
George Bluhm no later than June 13, 1997.
