Description of Request: The City of Idaho Falls, dba Idaho Falls Power, filed an application seeking Commission authorization to permit the construction of a new substation on a parcel of land that is owned by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, but has been turned over to the project licensee for management purposes. The application is for a substation and the associated transmission line. The filing includes maps, a description of the areas to be impacted by construction of the substation and associated facilities, aerial photographs, and public meeting information.
