ACTION: Notice of a committee meeting.

SUMMARY: The North Pacific Fishery Management Council's Community 
Development Quota (CDQ) Committee will meet in Juneau, AK.

DATES: The meeting will be held on Thursday, June 18, 1998.

ADDRESSES: The meeting will be held in Room 445C at the NMFS Regional 
Office, 709 W. 9th Street, Juneau, AK 99801.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Committee will meet to discuss halibut 
small-boat fleet composition and enforcement issues related to the 
possibility of moving the CDQ program out of the NMFS Restricted Access 
Management Division.
    Although other issues not contained in this agenda may come before 
this committee for discussion, in accordance with the Magnuson-Stevens 
Fishery Management Conservation Act, those issues may not be the 
subject of formal action during this meeting. Action will be restricted 
to those issues specifically identified in the agenda listed in this 
notice.
