Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council; Meeting

AGENCY: National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), National Oceanic and 
Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Commerce.

ACTION: Notice of public meetings.

SUMMARY: The Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council (Council) and its 
Squid, Mackerel and Butterfish Committee (Committee) will hold a public 
meeting on May 31-June 2, 1994, at the Holiday Inn, Philadelphia 
International Airport, 45 Industrial Highway, Essington, PA 19029; 
telephone: [phone].
    On May 31, the Committee will meet from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. 
On June 1, the Council meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m. and is scheduled 
to adjourn approximately noon on June 2.
    The following topics will be discussed:
    (1) Amendment 5 to the Atlantic Mackerel, Squid, and Butterfish 
Fishery Management Plan;
    (2) Chairmen's Meeting of May 14-16;
    (3) International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tuna 
Advisors' meeting of March 23-24;
    (4) Committee Reports; and
    (5) Other fishery management matters.
    The Council meeting may be lengthened or shortened, based on the 
progress of the meeting. The Council may go into closed session to 
discuss personnel or national security matters.
