TIME AND DATE: The Board of Directors of the Legal Services Corporation 
will meet on May 27, 1999 via conference call. The meeting will begin 
at 10:00 a.m and continue until conclusion of the Board's agenda.

MATTERS TO BE CONSIDERED: Consider and act on the Board of Directors' 
Semiannual Report to Congress on decisions, final actions, and comment 
on the Office of Inspector General's Semiannual Report to the Congress 
for the period of October 1, 1998 to March 31, 1999.
