Information Collection Activities Under OMB Review
AGENCY: Peace Corps.
ACTION: Notice of submission of public use form review request to the
office of Management and Budget.

SUMMARY: Pursuant to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1981 (44 U.S.C.
chapter 35), the Peace Corps has submitted to the Office of Management
and Budget, a request to extend the use of the Peace Corps Applicant
Questionnaire through May 31, 1995. The Questionnaire is completed by
applicants for Peace Corps Service who live outside the United States
or Puerto Rico. The Questionnaire requests information regarding the
applicant's motivation, commitment, social sensitivity, and
adaptability for Peace Corps service. Peace Corps uses the information
to evaluate an applicant's qualifications and suitability for
international service. The information is provided voluntarily, and is
protected by the Privacy Act of 1974. The information contained in the
Questionnaire is available only to Peace Corps employees with
specifically assigned duties requiring them to work with applicant
records daily, and to other Peace Corps employees having the need for
such records in the performance of their official duties.
