Net Settlement of Certain Institutional Delivery Trades

May 18, 1994.
    On April 25, 1990, The Depository Trust Company (``DTC'') filed 
with the Securities and Exchange Commission (``Commission'') a proposed 
rule change (File No. SR-DTC-90-05) under section 19(b)(1) of the 
Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (``Act'')\1\ providing for continuous 
net settlement of prime broker institutional delivery trades. Notice of 
the proposal was published in the Federal Register on May 31, 1990.\2\ 
On April 20, 1994, DTC withdrew its proposal.\3\
