    Advisory Council on Employee Welfare and Pension Benefits Plans; 
    Notice of Meeting
    
        Pursuant to the authority contained in Section 512 of the Employee 
    Retirement Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), 29 U.S.C. 1142, a public 
    meeting of the Working Group on Pension Education of the Advisory 
    Council on Employee Welfare and Pension Benefit Plans will be held from 
    9:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon, Tuesday, June 13, 1995, in Suite S-3215 A-
    B, U.S. Department of Labor Building, Third and Constitution Avenue, 
    N.W., Washington, D.C. 20210.
        This work group was formed by the Advisory Council to study issues 
    relating to pension education for employees and employers.
        The purpose of the June 13 meeting is to receive testimony from 
    invited persons concerning the types of educational information that is 
    needed and the individual retirement needs of employees. The work group 
    will also take testimony and/or submissions from employee 
    representatives, employer representatives and other interested 
    individuals and groups regarding the subject matter.
        Individuals or representatives of organizations wishing to address 
    the work group should submit a written request on or before June 8, 
    1995 to Linda R. Jackson, Acting Executive Secretary, ERISA Advisory 
    Council, U.S. Department of Labor, Suite N-5677, 200 Constitution 
    Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20210. Oral presentations will be 
    limited to ten (10) minutes, but witnesses may submit an extended 
    statement for the record.
        Organizatins or individuals may also submit statements for the 
    record without testifying. Twenty (20) copies of such statement should 
    be sent to the executive Secretary of the Advisory Council at the above 
    address. Papers will be accepted and included in the record of the 
    meeting if received on or before June 8, 1995.
