Natural Gas Pipeline Co. of America; Proposed Changes In FERC Gas
Tariff
May 20, 1994.
Take notice that on May 17, 1994, Natural Gas Pipeline Company of
America (Natural) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff,
Sixth Revised Volume No. 1, Second Revised Sheet No. 24, and Third
Revised sheet Nos. 318 and 319 to be effective June 1, 1994.
Natural states that the filing is submitted pursuant to section 21
of the General Terms and Conditions of Natural's FERC Gas Tariff, Sixth
Revised Volume No. 1, as a second semiannual rate filing under section
4 of the Natural Gas Act and the Rules and Regulations of the Federal
Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission) promulgated thereunder. The
rate adjustments filed for are designed to recover certain fixed
Account No. 858 costs incurred by Natural under contracts executed
prior to the Order No. 636 restructuring. No buyout or buydown costs
are reflected in this filing.
Natural requested specific waivers of section 21 of its Tariff and
the Commission's Regulations, including the requirements of
Sec. 154.63, to the extent necessary to permit the tariff sheets to
become effective June 1, 1994.
Natural states that copies of the filing are being mailed to
Natural's jurisdictional customers and interested state regulatory
agencies.
Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should
file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, NE., Washington, DC
20426, in accordance with Secs. 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's
Rules and Regulations. All such protests should be filed on or before
May 27, 1994. Protests will be considered by the Commission in
determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to
make protestants parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to
become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing
are on file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on file
with the Commission and are available for public inspection in the
public reference room.
