    In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. 92-
463, as amended), the National Science Foundation announces the 
following meeting:

    Name: Advisory Committee for Polar Programs.
    Date and Time: June 23 & 24, 1994, 9 a.m.--5 p.m. each day.
    Place: Room: Gallery 2, Ramada Renaissance Hotel, 950 North 
Stafford Street, Arlington, VA.
    Type of Meeting: Open.

    Purpose of Meeting: Serves to provide expert advice to the U.S. 
Antarctic Program on both science programs and required facilities 
at the U.S. South Pole Station.

the topics above.
