Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act
(CERCLA)--Chemical Handling Corporation Site, Jefferson County,
Colorado

ACTION: Notice; request for public comment.

SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given of a proposed settlement pursuant to
the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability
Act (CERCLA) concerning the Chemical Handling Corporation Site,
Jefferson County, Colorado (the ``Site''). Under the Agreement and
Covenant Not to Sue (Agreement), Broomfield Investment Group, LLC and
1031-B Land Corporation will pay $5,000 to the United States and
perform various improvements to the property at the Site.
DATES: Comments will be received until June 28, 1999.
ADDRESSES: The Agreement is available for public inspection at the EPA
Superfund Records Center, 999 18th Street, 5th Floor, North Tower,
Denver, Colorado. Comments should be addressed to Carol Pokorny,

should reference the Chemical Handling Corporation Site Agreement and
