ANR Pipeline Company; Notice of Refund Report

May 21, 1998.
    Take notice that on May 15, 1998, ANR Pipeline Company (ANR) 
tendered for filing a report of refunds made to customers as a result 
of the settlement approved in Docket No. RP94-43-000. Article XI of the 
Stipulation & Agreement (S&A) provides that ANR will make refunds 
within 30 days, of the Effective Date. The Effective Date was March 16, 
1998, as a result of the Commission's order accepting and approving, in 
part, the settlement. ANR Pipeline Company, 82 FERC (CCH) para. 61,145 
(1998). On April 15, 1998, ANR complied with the S&A and the 
Commission's order.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed on 
or before May 28, 1998. Protests will be considered by the Commission 
in determining the appropriate action to

be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the 
proceedings. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and 
are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
