SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: On December 8, 1993, the Commission
instituted the subject investigation and established a schedule for its
conduct (59 FR 3735, January 26, 1994). Subsequently, the President
declared April 27, 1994, a day of national mourning and ordered all
Federal agencies closed for business. The Commission, therefore, is
revising its schedule in the investigation to adjust for the
President's order.
The Commission's new schedule for the investigation is as follows:
the hearing will be held at the U.S. International Trade Commission
Building at 9:30 a.m. on May 2, 1994; the deadline for filing
posthearing briefs is May 9, 1994.
