Southern Natural Gas Company; Notice of Refund Report

May 24, 1995.
    Take notice that on May 22, 1995, Southern Natural Gas Company 
(Southern) tendered for filing a refund report pursuant to the 
Commission's order dated March 2, 1995, in the above-captioned 
proceeding. Southern states that these refund levels result from the 
restatement of Southern's GSR billing units effective from January 1, 
1994, through January 1, 1995.
    Southern seeks in this filing to support the derivation of its 
principal refund levels by customer and the accrued interest through 
the refund date of May 2, 1995.
    Southern states that copies of the refund report are being mailed 
to all applicable Southern shippers and interest state commissions.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol 
Street, N.E., Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Rules 211 of the 
Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (Sec. 385.211). All such 
protests should be filed on or before June 1, 1995. Protests will be 
considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to 
be taken but will not serve to make protestants parties to the 
proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and 
are available for public inspection.
