ACTION: Cancellation of Notice of Intent to Prepare an Environmental 
Impact Statement.

SUMMARY: As announced in Federal Register Vol. 59, No. 92, page 25116, 
May 13, 1994, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) advised the 
public that the Service intended to gather information necessary to 
prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) ``U.S. Fish and 
Wildlife Service Habitat Protection in Selected Areas of the Middle-
Upper Pacific Coast.'' This notice announces the Service has decided to 
cancel the environmental analysis process. The May 13, 1994 Notice of 
Intent is hereby rescinded.
