State of Oklahoma; NGPA Determination By Jurisdictional Agency
Designating Tight Formation
May 3, 1994.
Take notice that on April 22, 1994, the Corporation Commission of
the State of Oklahoma (Oklahoma) submitted the above-referenced notice
of determination pursuant to Sec. 271.703(c)(3) of the Commission's
regulations, that the Sycamore, Woodford, Hunton, and Viola Formations,
underlying a portion of Stephens County, Oklahoma, qualify as tight
formations under section 107(b) of the Natural Gas Policy Act of 1978.
The recommended area consists of the State and/or private lands portion
of the NW/4 of section 14, in T2S, R4W, in Stephens County, Oklahoma.
The notice of determination also contains Oklahoma's findings that
the referenced formations meet the requirements of the Commission's
regulations set forth in 18 CFR part 271.
The application for determination is available for inspection,
except for material which is confidential under 18 CFR 275.206, at the
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, NE.,
Washington, DC 20426. Persons objecting to the determination may file a
protest, in accordance with 18 CFR 275.203 and 275.204, within 20 days
after the date this notice is issued by the Commission.
