Northern Natural Gas Co.; Notice of Proposed Changes In FERC Gas 
Tariff

May 3, 1995.
    Take notice that on May 1, 1995, Northern Natural Gas Company 
(Northern), tendered for filing to become part of Northern's FERC Gas 
Tariff, Fifth Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets, 
effective April 1, 1995 and September 1, 1995:

Substitute First Revised Sheet No. 101
Second Revised Sheet No. 101
Substitute First Revised Sheet No. 116
Substitute Second Revised Sheet No. 221
Substitute First Revised Sheet No. 226
Substitute First Revised Sheet No. 257

    Northern is filing in compliance with the Commission's Order issued 
March 30, 1995 in Docket Nos. RP95-185-000 and RP95-185-001, and to 
request clarification on certain tariff provisions.
    Northern further states that copies of the filing have been mailed 
to each of its customers, interested State Commissions and other 
parties.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol 
Street, N.E., Washington, D.C., 20426, in accordance with Rule 211 of 
the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211). All 
such protests must be filed on or before May 10, 1995. Protests will be 
considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate proceeding. 
Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and are available 
for public inspection.
