El Paso Natural Gas Company; Notice of Technical Conference

June 5, 1997.
    In the Commission's order issued on February 13, 1997, in the 
above-captioned proceedings concerning implementation by El Paso 
Natural Gas Company (El Paso) of the Gas Industry Standards Board 
(GISB) standards, the Commission held that the filings raised issues 
for which a technical conference is to be convened. On March 13, 1997, 
the Commission granted El Paso's request to delay its implementation of 
the GISB standards from April 1, 1997, to June 1, 1997.
    The conference to address the issues has been scheduled for 
Wednesday July 9, 1997, at 10:00 a.m. in a room to be designated at the 
offices of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, 
NE., Washington, DC 20426.
    All interested persons and Staff are permitted to attend.
