Gas Transport, Inc.; Notice of Compliance Filing

June 5, 1997.
    Take notice that on May 30, 1997, Gas Transport, Inc. (GTI) 
tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Second Revised 
Volume No. 1, certain tariff sheets listed on Appendix A to the filing, 
with a proposed effective date of June 1, 1997.
    GTI states that these tariff sheets reflect the requirements of the 
Letter Order issued by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission 
(``Commission'') on May 15, 1997, in Docket Nos. RP97-157-000, et al.
    Gas Transport states that copies of this compliance filing were 
served upon its jurisdictional customers and the Regulatory Commissions 
of the states of Ohio and West Virginia.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure. All such protests must be 
filed in accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's 
Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in 
determining the appropriate action to be taken but will not serve to 
make protestants parties to the proceeding. Copies of this filing are 
on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection.
