ARCTIC RESEARCH COMMISSION
Meeting
June 5, 1995.
Notice is hereby given that the Arctic Research Commission will
hold its 39th Meeting in Cambridge, U.K. at the Scott Polar Research
Institute, Cambridge University. On Monday, July 3, a Business Session
open to the public will convene at 9:00 a.m. Agenda items include (1)
Opening remarks by the Director, SPRI, and the Chairman, ARC; (2) Scott
Polar Research Activities briefing; and (3) British Antarctic Survey
briefing. On Tuesday, July 4, an Executive Session will be held at 9:00
a.m. after which the Commission will depart for Bremerhaven. On
Wednesday, July 5 the Commission will visit the Alfred Wegener
Institute for Polar Research for briefings and a tour of the WRI
facilities followed by a tour of the research icebreaker Polarstar.
Any person planning to attend this meeting who requires special
accessibility features and/or auxiliary aids, such as sign language
interpreters, must inform the Commission in advance of those needs.
