    Travel and Tourism Advisory Board; Notice of Meeting
    
        Pursuant to section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, 
    5 U.S.C. (App. 1976) notice is hereby given that the Travel and Tourism 
    Advisory Board of the U.S. Department of Commerce will meet on July 19, 
    1994, at 9 a.m. at the Boston Back Bay Hilton, 40 Dalton Street, 
    Boston, Massachusetts.
        Established March 19, 19982, the Travel and Tourism Advisory Board 
    consists of 15 members, representing the major segments of the travel 
    and tourism industry and state tourism interests, and includes one 
    member of a travel labor organization, a consumer advocate, an 
    academician and a financial expert.
        Members advise the Secretary of Commerce on matters pertinent to 
    the Department's responsibilities to accomplish the purpose of the 
    International Travel Act, as amended, and provide guidance to the Under 
    Secretary for Travel and Tourism.
        Agenda items are as follows:

    IV. Current Legislative Issues
    V. Tourism Policy Council and White House Conference on Tourism
    VI. USA Marketing Council Report
    VII. USTTA Program Planning
    VIII. Miscellaneous
    IX. Adjournment
    
        A very limited number of seats will be available to observers from 
    the public and the press. To assure adequate seating, individuals 
    intending to attend should notify the Committee Control Officer in 
    advance. The public will be permitted to file written statements with 
    the Committee before or after the public forum and meeting. To the 
    extent time is available, the presentation or oral statements will be 
    allowed.
