Management and Budget for Review
June 13, 1994.
The Federal Communications Commission has submitted the following
information collection requirement to OMB for review and clearance
under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980 (44 U.S.C. 3507).

Title: Application for Renewal of Private Radio Station License.
Form Number: FCC Form 452-R.
Action: Extension of a currently approved collection.
Respondents: Individuals or households, state or local governments,
non-profit institutions, and businesses or other for-profit (including
small businesses).
Frequency of Response: On occasion reporting requirement and other:
every 5 years.
Estimated Annual Burden: 2,700 responses; .166 hours average burden
per response; 448 hours total annual burden.
Needs and Uses: In accordance with FCC rules, Aviation Ground and
Marine Coast Radio Station licensees are required to apply for renewal
for their radio station authorization every five years. FCC Form 452-R
is used for that purpose. Commission personnel will use the data to
determine eligibility for a renewal authorization and issue a radio
station license. Data is also used by Compliance Division personnel in
conjunction with field engineers for enforcement purposes.
