Office of National AIDS Policy; Notice of Meeting of the
Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS and Its Subcommittees
Pursuant to Public Law 92-463, notice is hereby given of the
meeting of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS on July 25-26,
1997, at the Wyndham Garden Hotel, Atlanta, GA. The meeting of the
Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS will take place on Friday,
July 25 and Saturday, July 26 from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm at the Wyndham
Garden Hotel, 3340 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 30326. The meetings
will be open to the public.
The purpose of the subcommittee meetings will be to finalize their
annual report that will be sent to the President as well as assess the
status of any recommendations made to the Administration. The agenda of
the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS may include presentations
from the Council's six committees: Research, Services, Prevention,
Discrimination, Communities for African and Latino Descent, and Prison
Issues.
