National Cancer Institute; Notice of Closed Meeting
Pursuant to Section 10(d) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as
amended (5 U.S.C. Appendix 2), notice is hereby given of the following
National Cancer Institute Special Emphasis Panel (SEP) meeting:
Name of SEP: Prostate, Lung, Colorectal, and Ovarian Cancer
(PLCO) Cancer Screening Trial Expansion.
Date: June 8-9, 1998.
Time: June 8--8:00 a.m. to recess; June 9--8:00 a.m. to
Adjournment.
Place: Double Tree Hotel-Rockville, 1750 Rockville Pike,
Rockville, MD 20852.

and the discussions could reveal confidential trade secrets or
commercial property such as patentable material and personal
information concerning individuals associated with the proposals,
the disclosure of which would constitute a clearly unwarranted
invasion of personal privacy.
This notice is being published less than 15 days prior to the
meeting due to the urgent need to meet timing limitations imposed by
the review and funding cycle.
