Network Reliability Council Meeting

AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Notice of public meeting.

SUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, Public 
Law 92-463, as amended, this notice advises interested persons of the 
eighth meeting of the Network Reliability Council (``Council''), which 
will be held at the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, 
DC.

DATES: Wednesday, July 6, 1994, at 1:30 p.m.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Council was established by the Federal 
Communications Commission to bring together leaders of the 
telecommunications industry and telecommunications experts from 
academic and consumer organizations to explore and recommend measures 
that would enhance network reliability.
    The agenda for the eighth meeting is as follows. Council members 
will discuss network reliability developments since the last Council 
meeting. Members will discuss possible new focus areas and 
organizational issues. The Council may also address other issues. After 
determining the next meeting date, the Council will adjourn.
    Members of the general public may attend the meeting. The Federal 
Communications Commission will attempt to accommodate as many people as 
possible. However, admittance will be limited to the seating available. 
There will be no public oral participation, but the public may submit 
written comments to the Council's designated Federal Officer, before 
the meeting.
