Pacific Fishery Management Council; Public Meetings
AGENCY: National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), National Oceanic and
Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Commerce.
ACTION: Notice of public meeting.

SUMMARY: The Pacific Fishery Management Council's (Council) Halibut
Advisory Subpanel will hold a meeting on July 11-12, 1994, at the
Council office conference room, 2130 SW Fifth Avenue, Suite 224,
Portland, OR. The meeting will begin on July 11 at 1:00 p.m. and run
until approximately 5:00 p.m. The subpanel will reconvene on July 12 at
8:00 a.m. and continue until business is completed.
The subpanel will meet with agency halibut managers to review a
preliminary analysis of alternatives for allocating Pacific halibut in
Area 2A beginning in 1995. Subpanel recommendations will be submitted
to the Pacific Fishery Management Council at its August 2-5, 1994
meeting in Portland, OR.
